Founder and Creative Director Cassandra Rhodin is driven by a personal engagement in social and environmental issues and since 2018 Mini Rodini has made an annual donation to an NGO. Cassandra picks an NGO & cause and designs a charity collection where 20 % of the selling price is donated. Apart from donating the money, Mini Rodini also uses our platforms to help inform and educate about the cause and the organization. So far Mini Rodini has supported Sea Shepherd, Wildhood Foundation and Galgos del Sol. Together with our customers we have managed to raise 100 683 Euros (December 2022).
In 2018 and 2021 Mini Rodini supported Sea Shepherd - the international, non-profit, marine conservation organization - to support its mission to defend, conserve and protect our oceans. Cassandra Rhodin and Captain Paul Watson joined forces with an important message to our kids: “Stop Whaling Now!” for 2018 and “Our oceans are dying! Leave its residents alone!”in 2021.
-I think there are many synergies with Sea Shepherd and Mini Rodini. Cassandra Rhodin is not afraid to take a stand for things she believes in, this is very refreshing and inspiring and in line with Sea Shepherd. When I speak about diversity, for me it’s about bringing artists, organizations, companies and people together that want to create change, says Captain Paul Watson, founder Sea Shepherd about the collaboration.

In 2019 and in 2022 Mini Rodini partnered up with Wildhood Foundation, to support the wildlife and elephants in Lower Zambezi Valley Zimbabwe and specifically the Akashinga project, the first fully armed female anti- poaching unit. The Akashinga project is a community-driven conservation model in Zimbabwe. It’s founded by the International Anti- Poaching Foundation and opened exclusively to unemployed mothers, abandoned wives, survivors of sexual and physical abuse, widows and orphans, empowering them to support themselves while protecting large networks of wilderness areas.
-I love the Akashinga project. It is a huge success on so many levels, employing women and making them independent and able to support themselves and their families. The female rangers also make a huge impact on the whole local community, says Cassandra Rhodin.

In 2021 Mini Rodini teamed up with Galgos del Sol, a non-profit dog shelter in Murcia, Spain to help save the Galgo. The Spanish Galgo is a loyal, kind and affectionate breed used by hunters for the hunting season. Every year 50 000 - 100 000 Spanish Galgos get thrown out on the street when the season has ended. Thousands of Galgos are found in horrible conditions, starved, full of diseases, traumatized, and hurt. In an effort to help these Galgos, Mini Rodini donates 20% of each co-lab branded product sold to Galgos del Sol, a non-profit dog shelter that rescues, rehabilitates and rehomes Galgos in need.
